October 24 - 28 - Purple Pinkie Events & Pennies for Polio

St. Joseph Catholic School and Hespeler Public School in Cambridge, ON are both celebrating World Polio Day by holding "Purple Pinkie" events.  St. Joseph's is hosting a Pennies for Polio project this week and is raising mone to help in the fight to end worldwide polio.  For only 60 cents, another child can receive polio immunization. 

Students will paint their "pinkie" purple ... in solidarity and remembrance of the indicator ink that is used when a child is immunized.  This simple act helps prevent the cripling and sometimes fatal disease Poilo? For details, e-mail our Club.
